After Lewis County Fire District 1’s recent Wildland Field Day, 15 personnel will be Red Card certified. Red Card certified individuals are able to deploy to regional or State fire incidents. As part of the training, a prescribed burn cleared out underbrush and ladder fuels to protect the department property from wildfires.
